Terms of Service

The rules for using VoiceCloner safely and lawfully.

Last updated: 2026-07-29

Agreement

By accessing or using VoiceCloner, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the Service Does

VoiceCloner lets you submit a voice sample, create a short-lived AI voice profile, and generate speech from text. The first release is a free, anonymous service with fair-use limits. Displayed paid plans are previews and are not available for purchase unless a checkout is explicitly offered.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to protect the service, comply with law, or improve the product.

Permission and Acceptable Use

You must own the rights to every voice you upload or have the voice owner's explicit permission. You are responsible for the samples, text, and generated output you use.

You may not use VoiceCloner to:

  • impersonate, defraud, deceive, harass, threaten, or exploit another person;
  • clone a celebrity, public figure, minor, or any person without valid consent;
  • create deceptive political, financial, medical, sexual, defamatory, or criminal content;
  • bypass safeguards, quotas, or access controls, or automate abusive requests;
  • violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
  • distribute malware or interfere with the service or its providers.

We may reject content, delete a voice profile, block access, preserve evidence, or report activity when we reasonably believe these rules or applicable law have been violated.

Voice Data and Third-Party Services

The service uses third-party infrastructure and voice technology, including Cloudflare, Supabase, and ElevenLabs. Their applicable terms may also govern their processing. Our Privacy Policy explains how voice samples, generated audio, and anonymous usage metadata are handled.

Output and Intellectual Property

You retain rights you already hold in your submitted material. Subject to applicable law and third-party terms, you may use generated output, but you are solely responsible for verifying permissions, accuracy, disclosures, and suitability. The VoiceCloner software, branding, and site content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Availability and Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Voice similarity, pronunciation, language support, speed, and availability may vary. We do not guarantee that output will be accurate, unique, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Do not rely on generated speech for emergency, medical, legal, financial, identity-verification, or safety-critical decisions.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceCloner and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to support@voicecloner.org.
